The 18th century estate in Palmanyola, owned by Englishwoman Margaret Whittaker, has been renovated and transformed this year, and shone with a new superlative show this summer. In keeping with winter, Son Amar has now been transformed into a Winter Wonderland.
One of the best things to do just before Christmas is to take a stroll through one of Mallorca’s typical Christmas markets. This year, 2021, Son Amar has organised something special: A Christmas market where you can stroll among festively decorated stalls to buy gifts for the upcoming Christmas. You are sure to find a special gift to surprise your loved ones this Christmas at one of the many stalls.
The entertainment programme with the artists of Son Amar enriches this market and the beautifully decorated winter landscape gets everyone in the mood for the great festivity. Adults can listen to music over a glass of mulled wine and let their children play in the children’s playground, go Christmas shopping or simply enjoy the ambience. The absolute highlight is the huge ice rink on the “Royal Terrace” - great fun for young and old!
Children up to 11 years of age have free admission, adults pay €5. For the ice rink (15 minutes) and the Son Amar Show (20 minutes) you have to pay extra and is optional.
