5 of the most expensive places in Spain are located in Mallorca
Living on an island close to the sea has it’s price. Regarding the company “Tinsa”, which is responsible for real estate estimations, 5 municipalities in Mallorca belong to the places with the highest real estate prices. These include: Calvia, Andratx, Alcudia, Soller and Santanyi. Most you pay in Sitges (Barcelona), where the average is 2,694 €/ m². Immediately afterwards Calviá comes with 2,520 €/ m², 2,422 / m² in Andratx, Alcudia with 2,410 €/ m², Sóller with 1,984 €/ m², 1,972 €/ m² in Santanyi or with Marbella in last place with 1,766 €/ m². Despite some crises, mainly in the mainland, prices in recent years have been relatively stable on the coasts in value and crisis-resistant. Throughout Spain there were some discounts of up to 42%, in Mallorca it was far less than 35%. Especially in Alcudia, prices remained very stable and have decreased only by about 15%. The mood is very positive on the island and nearly all agents, lawyers or contractors report for months of good and also increasing sales and have an increased need for staff.
