Fantastic Tapas Festival in Palma – 19.-22.10.2016
On the four days from the 19th to the 22nd of October, the popular “TaPalma” event takes place in its twelfth round. At the tapas festival in Palma, a record number of around 50 restaurants and bars, which are connected in nine routes, takes part. For the first time, the new San Juan gastro market will also be taking part. Palmas restaurants and bars offer specially created and reasonably priced tapas during the fair, which will include a programme of related activities, designed to showcase the creativity of local chefs. The delicious Tapas are offered at around 2 €. The best way to do it, is to go there with max. 4-6 people (no big groups) to go from bar to bar and from restaurant to restaurant to enjoy tapas and wine and then give an appropriate rating. Each year there is a jury that selects the best tapas and chef of the festival.
Under the motto “Ruta de copas”, visitors will be able to taste as well cocktails and drinks for the first time this year. For not loosing the orientation, a specially programmed mobile application helps to find the way from one location to the other. The application with the name “rutapa” provides not only information about places and offers, but also forms the platform for the visitors which are strolling around.
