Fira de la Sal – spices and salt fair on Easter in Colonia de Sant Jordi

Those who want to taste and buy various herbal salts and spices of the island, the traditional salt and spice trade fair in Colonia de Sant Jordi should not be missed. Just in time for Easter, the event will again attract a large crowd in the seaside resort on the south coast of Majorca. Here you find typical island spices or Majorcan salt. The centre of the fair is a large tent on the Plaza Pou d’en Verdera (entrance 1 Euro). Several restaurants are participating and offer small dishes and tapas at the price of two to three euros. In the side streets a typical craft market takes place. This has always open on all three days and for the little ones, bouncing castles will be there.
